We recently acquired a Nicaraguan "daughter", an international student at Reedley College who will be living with us for nine months! We decided to convert our Peace Corps blog into a blog about our experience with her. Read about our adventures, mishaps, and other funny things that happen throughout this experience.

Almost Gone
Well, we are done with staging. Quite a lot of fun, actually is was not bad. We found out we wont have internet access at our training site so the best we will be able to do is travel to a nearby town to use on a weekend or something. So don't count on hearing from us anytime soon. Still leave comments so we have plenty to read when we do check it.

It was hard saying bye wed on the phone knowing I won't be able to talk with you anytime soon. Keep in touch anytime you can. I know this is an adventure of a lifetime.
Miss you and love you!!
Mom
Hi Honey:
We sure do miss you both. Can't you make this any easier? We are all gathered here today to honor your dad and Peggy's send off to the great state of Michigan probably as bad as Honduras. Had a good lunch with lots of meat and desert is later, a nice lemon chiffon pie by Aunt Mary. How is the bacon wrapped rat?
Love To You Both Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, Peggy, Aunts Judy & Mary
